Six Figures has a relatively short business history in relation to the successes that have been achieved to date. Karen Jenkin and Kelly Magowan (the founders of Six Figures) have been developing the concept for over 12 months and working with a terrific development team for about half of this time. We have experienced an exciting and challenging time and have all enjoyed working together to build our site that will revolutionise online hiring.

Being a start up business, we have limited financial information available. We are a private company and have a group of successful and experienced private investors behind us.

Kelly Magowan is a specialist in Human Resources Management, Recruitment and Career Counseling. Her experience spans general, commercial and corporate HR and Recruitment. She has held positions in recruitment specialists such as Chandler McLeod and Qudos. She has consulted to leading corporates like Ernst & Young and GE. In 2003 Kelly co-founded The Clarity Group Pty Ltd, specializing in office and financial recruitment, one-on-one Career Coaching Services and HR Consulting Services for SMEs. Kelly sold her share in this highly successful business in 2006. Kelly has a Masters Degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, a Graduate Certificate in HR Management, a Bachelor of Arts and a Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training. She is a professional Member of the Australian Association of Career Counselors and the Australian Institute of Management.

Karen Jenkin has a wealth of experience in telecoms and IT with companies such as Ericsson and Telstra, involving applications software and systems, web development, speech processing and AI software. Karen has also run her own IT support business for SMEs. Her knowledge and achievements include project management, application software design, prototype mobile applications, and online surveys, performing web development, financial modeling, mobile games and agile software development techniques. Karen is passionate about future technology, business innovation and creativity. She has been published in various industry journals. Karen holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), Bachelor of Science, Master of Engineering Science, and Master of Entrepreneurship and Innovation. She has completed a number of technical courses; participated in Telstra’s CEO’s Leaders Program and received many research and student awards.

SIx Figures has recently formed a board. In addition we have two experienced Advisors working with us, one from the IT industry, whilst the other has a strong financial and marketing background.
